What To Know Before Getting Lasik
This video is all about lasik (a type of eye surgery) and what everyone should know before getting or undergoing this surgical operation.
Lasik or Laser Eye Surgery may be one of the best things that people have done but it can also be a terrifying experience for anyone. Lasik can be an incovenient part of anyone’s life (especially for those who are driving and travelling)
The procedure is a bit different than regular lasik. Instead of cutting the cornea, the surgeon pushes the cornea and shoots the laser in the eye instead of opening the flap!
Things to remember after undergoing Lasik Surgery:
– Don’t drive at night after having surgery (it’s dangerous)
– Do not rub your eyes
– Make sure to have eye drops or artificial tears (Not Visine please)
– Your eyes can get too dry that it hurts to open them
– It’s very rare that Lasik can get you blind.
