This Week’s Extractions!

Here’s a nice medley of milia, blackhead and whitehead extractions for you! Some are by my husband, Dr Jeff Rebish, as well, and you can see he has some different techniques from me, but they are just as effective! The “zappy” thing that you see Dr Rebish use is an electrocautery tool. We use what we like to call a “black tip” which is a connector with a extremely fine needle. When we touch this needle to a milia or a comedone, we can zap, or cauterize, the growth superficially, shrinking/dessicating the area and creating a small whole through which we can extract a blackhead or a milium.
