Did you know that the average teen spends 9 hours a day in front of their screens? Much of that is in social media. The number of likes, comments and followers seem to be the validation of one’s self-worth and this generation is constantly validation hunting on their
screens.

The greatest tragedy is to be consumed with the
idealism of perfection. We all struggle to fit in.

Tips on how to be your most authentic self:

– Stay solo – spending time alone makes you
understand who you really are. It gives you the
freedom to think.
– Surrender your social – post something vulnerable.
By doing so, we are able to connect with those
around us.
– Be brave – take the risk to share who you are. Think
of bravery as a muscle.

If we’re able to exercise these, we’ll live a life true to
who we are and we’d reach our goal to become our most
authentic self.
