For medical education- NSFE. Removing via snip excision, seborrheic keratoses and verrucous keratoses, aka “wisdom spots” and skin tags, that commonly occur around the neck. It’s not “medically necessary” to remove these, but as you can see, many people want them off, particularly because they are tough to disguise and they can get caught on your clothes or jewelry.
I numb areas with lidocaine before I use sharp serrated scissors to remove them. I use a very small needle – 30 gauge, and its usually painless, and I remove these growths “flush with the skin” so that there should not be any noticeable scar that remains.
Many people don’t realize that these can be removed so easily!
