For medical education- NSFE. Sorry, previous upload was cut off early. Here, I use the GoPro to film an excision of a basal cell carcinoma of the left forearm.
I pays to be “chatty”. It takes practice to be able to carry on a conversation while doing surgery.. as you can see I use an electrocautery to cauterize bleeding vessels, and there is an instance where I had to tie off an arteriole to diminish bleeding.
Deep vertical mattress sutures, followed by running subcuticular suture were used to close the wound.
