Punch removal of a cyst on the mid chest

This man asked me about this small bump on the center of his chest. You can’t see it well, but you can feel it. He has a small epidermoid cyst in the area, that I removed today, via punch biopsy tool.

An epidermoid cyst is also called a sebaceous cyst, and is a benign growth, a sac filled with macerated keratin (dead skin cells). They do not need to be removed for any medical reason, but if they get inflamed and infected, they can become very painful and can lead to scarring.
