Previously scarred cyst removed on upper back. For medical education- NSFE

This is a cyst excision on the upper back, on a cyst that has been previously inflamed and had a small scar visible on an edge of the initial bump. This patient is darker complected, which is by the macerated keratin within the sac of this cyst is dark grey in color. The contents of the cyst sac is mainly composed of skin cells.
The cyst was removed in its entirety and deep and superficial sutures were placed to close the wound.
