Many of you may really love watching this kind of cyst excision, but actually I don’t really enjoy this particular kind. I much prefer the clean cyst excisions, when I remove the cyst intact and can squeeze out the nice, white, clean contents out later if I wish.
The reason I don’t really like these are because I can’t feel confident that I removed the whole cyst. I can’t delineate the margins well, due to inflammation and/or precious infection creating a boggy mess as you can see here. It takes me much longer to remove a cyst in this condition, but I think in this case (at least I hope) I did it. We shall see. I will keep you all updated!
Remember, an epidermoid cyst is not life threatening or harmful, but most people wish to remove them because they may feel they are u slightly, or they get irritated and possibly infected often.
