Why I Love Activated Charcoal?

I love this mask because it contains activated charcoal. If you guys know activated charcoal is an amazing ingredient it’s basically like a magnet for sucking out all the dirt, oil, bacteria in your pores. Especially because it’s really hard to get into the pores, so activated charcoal can pull it all out and take it all out.

The other ingredients in the Activated Charcoal Masque, it contains DMAE which is dimethylaminoethanol and this is in a lot of really high-end skincare products. What DMAE does? It helps tighten skin and reduce sagging, improve firmness and elasticity, smooth lines and wrinkles and brightens the skin.

Free radicals it’s like the stuff that comes from the sun or anything in your environment that really pollute and like age your skin.

For example, in ferulic acid, it does a great job of fighting those free radicals and then the DMAE does that too. We also have organic blue-green algae in here and it is one of the most nutritious foods in the planet.

There’s also zinc oxide here. It has antibacterial properties so it will help prevent further breakouts because again breakouts occur when hair follicle has bacteria sebum. Skin particles create a pimple so you want to make sure its skin is clean. It also has allantoin which is a naturally occurring compound in plants. It soothes and protects the skin from irritation.

How To Use The Activated Charcoal Clay Masque?

You just need a tiny bit and because it is a powder it doesn’t expire, and it won’t have bacteria in there.

I use a lid to apply the Activated Charcoal. You can use any kind of container. I just like to use the lid because you’ll save more product. I mix it with the Vitamin C Beauty Elixir from which comes in the Banish Starter Kit. This is amazing because it contains tea tree oil which is really great at preventing acne and aloe vera juice and Vitamin C and organic sugarcane extract. All the products from Banish are natural and organic. I just take a little bit of that and I’ll just spray a few spritzes. You can either take a makeup brush to apply it on.

A clean makeup brush or you can just use your finger. You can also use water or you can use apple cider vinegar whatever you like. I’m going to place it on my nose. I usually just use this on my nose and where I’m having large pores. I don’t really have pores like up here as much I just have it along edges of my nose.

A lot of people would use the charcoal mask by applying on the nose and they will put the Pumpkin Enzyme Masque alongside on the forehead and jawline. The pumpkin has glycolic acid which is really good for like underneath the jawline. I’m just going to let this dry I think it takes like five minutes for it to dry. When it’s dry instead of being this green color it’ll be like more of a gray, let’s wait for this to dry.

It’s been about three to four minutes since I put the mask on. You can see that almost dry except for this part. This is the color when it’s dry and you should wash it off.

All you need to do after is to wash it off, I just took a towel and a wet towel. I’m just going to wipe it off and you don’t need to use any cleanser or any soap.
