Stretchmarks

WHAT: Stretch marks, or striae, are a type of scarring on the skin, not unlike acne scarring. When the dermis, or middle layer of the skin, is torn, a scar, or mark appears. The dermis is responsible for keeping the shape of skin. They first appear as reddish or purple lines, but tend to gradually fade to a lighter range.
They are often associated with pregnancy.
But both men and women can get stretch marks. They can appear whenever your body is going through rapid changes, such as during puberty or times of great weight loss or gain. They tend to show up on areas of the body that have more fat such as the….stomach, thighs, breasts, upper arms, buttocks and back.
Some people are more prone to stretch marks because of genetics.

Many people recommend Moisturizing with cocoa butter or shea butter daily to avoid or reduce stretchmarks.

I like to use my Banish Acne body roller for stretch marks
This tool is a simple, hand-held skin roller that is covered in very fine bristles. When you use the roller, it separates the pores on the top layer of skin with damaging it.
