Cyst excised by Dr. Rebish

This was a pretty sizeable cyst on the abdomen that Dr Rebish, excised from a small incision. It was friable, with a sac wall that easily broke down, so had to be broken and squeezed out, as you see here. As you know, these are benign growths, but can grow large and can be a source of annoyance and embarrassment. If they get irritated they can get inflamed and/or infected and this can create an abscess which may lead to scarring. It’s important to remove the entire cyst sac including it’s wall to prevent reoccurence.
