Blackheads Extractions on a 67 Years Young Female

This 67 years young woman came in to my clinic to have extractions done before going on vacation. It had been several years since we’ve last seen her.

She is a heavy smoker and loves the sun. Two factors that has contributed to her having problems with solar comedones. A solar comedones is a small colored papule found on the face of a middle – aged or older person. Solar comedones affect areas that have been exposed to sunlight over a long period of time. It may affect the skin around the eyes, temples and the neck area. This condition is also known as Faure – Racouchot Syndrome. I am looking forward to seeing her again. Hope you enjoy this video.
