A lot of celebrities including Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Britney Spears and Kristen Stewart have suffered from acne scarring. When they have breakouts, they use something like photodynamic therapy or light/photo activation by applying amino acids and blue light therapy.

In this video, Daisy shares some alternatives as well as preventive measures in treating dry skin at home during winter season.

When Dealing With Acne/Acne Scars

Alternative – Visit a dermatologist for a cortisone shot. Get yourself a trusted dermatologist

Preventive measure – Use a face wash or mask containing sulfur to soak up the oil and dry up pimples. Use an exfoliating scrub with beads or Banish Pumpkin Enzyme Masque or a MicroSkin Roller.

When Exfoliating

Alternative: Use exfoliating beads or the Banish Pumpkin Enzyme Masque.

When Combating Dry Skin

Alternative – Make a DIY moisturizing mask by mixing honey with rolled oats then apply it on your face for 10 to 15 minutes then wipe it off and rinse.

You may also use 2 to 3 drops of Argan oil to keep your skin moisturized and achieve a healthy glow.

When Combating Super Damaged Skin

We love getting ourselves soaked under the sun but overexposure can also damage our skin. There are celebrities who use custom creams like Vitamin C, A or E to protect their skin’s collagen.

Alternative – Keep a moisturizer or serum containing these antioxidants and vitamins available at your local drugstore. The Banish Vitamin C, E and Ferulic Serum would be your best companion for treating a super damaged skin.
