Hey, guys! I wanted to make this video because some of you guys reached out to me on Insta (@prettyprogress23 – connect with me!😉) and is asking how I stay confident with acne or acne scars, how my boyfriend got comfortable with my skin journey and how to stay confident with acne and scarring overall!

First, I want to start by leaving this my favorite quote here: “People who mind don’t matter, people who matter won’t mind.” 💪

I have my top 3 tips to stay confident in your own skin!

Tip # 1: Don’t surround yourself with people who make you feel insecure!

We should stay confident in our own skin but sometimes, we come across people who will make us feel uncomfortable and we can sense that it’s on purpose! It’s okay to end a conversation and walk away – they’re not worth your time!

Remember: “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”💪

Tip # 2: Converse with confidence and don’t worry about your skin!

Sometimes people may just stare at your face, it doesn’t mean they are being rude or intentionally wants to make you feel insecure – that’s okay! Hold your head high and converse with confidence! A good talk with quality content is definitely captivating!

Tip # 3: Verbally discuss what’s going through your mind!

The special people in our life, our friends, our relationship partners, our family should be our number one supporter and the one who encourages us! We should be able to be comfortable around them, and the first step to this is opening up and discussing what’s on your mind!

Never bottle up your emotions, communicate and keep them on the loop – if they care about you, they will listen, support and might even be able to help you with your journey!🤗

Acne sucks, we know but it’s more bearable if we surround ourselves with people who have nothing but positive energy and love for us! You got this, we are all a warrior!💪
