Derm Days with Dr. Pimple Popper!

Case #1: Fractionated CO2 laser treatment for fine lines and wrinkles using the Mixto Microfractionated laser. First I dermaplaned the skin, using a blade very similar in shape to the one barbers use to give men a close beard shave. I use it to exfoliate lightly, but to also remove vellus hairs… this is important because if the laser is used before these hairs are removed, the laser doesn’t contact the skin as efficiently, it will laser some of the hair away and the hair blocks contact with the skin. This laser can be used quite successfully to remove brown spots/age spots, improve some types of acne scars and minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
Case #2 Milia extractions
Case #3 Injection of an inflammatory papule (pimple) with low concentration intralesional kenalog. This makes a pimple go away within 24 hours!
Case #4 Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery on an opera singing patient!
Case #4 Solar comedones, a la Favre Racouchot
