BLACKHEADS EXTRACTIONS on Happy’s Forehead #3
A hypodermic needle is normally used to inject substances under the skin. I give it a different use in general, and in particular for each type of extraction. In the cases of Milia, I make a superficial cut at the epidermis level. In cases of blackheads (opened comedones), whiteheads (closed comedones), the process is different. The keratin and sebum plug is quite resistant to extraction. If you insist on squeezing, the skin runs the risk of being over-treated. It’s not serious, but the next day, the client will look as if he or she had faced a legion of furious cats. In this video I try to explain how and why I use the hypodermic needle.
